If you purchased a one-year Lumenate subscription through the Kickstarter campaign, our activation mechanism using Stripe is now ready to go ✨
Please follow the steps below to activate your subscription.
Activating your 1-year subscription
Complete the backer survey: Once you pledge, Kickstarter will send you a backer survey where you can share your delivery address and your email linked to your Lumenate account (see our article: Kickstarter Backer Survey for more info).
Look out for an email from Lumenate: After your backer survey is submitted, you will receive an email (Lumenate 1-Year Subscription: Kickstarter) to activate your one-year subscription which you can start whenever you want, whether that's now or when your Lumenate Nova arrives.
Activate your Stripe account: As you've already paid for a year of access, the activation link will grant this before it renews at the same price (of £30 or your currency equivalent).
Link the subscription to your Lumenate account: You will then receive a second confirmation email (Subscription Confirmation - Login To Access), this email has a "Magic Login Button" to use on your mobile phone to seamlessly link up the subscription to your account.
If clicking the Magic Login Button does not unlock your subscription, open the Lumenate app and navigate to Settings > Web Login. Use the "Web Login Input Code" from the email to link the subscription and gain access to all content.
Please make sure you do not have an active subscription (with Apple or Google Play) in the Lumenate App. If you do, wait until it expires; otherwise, you'll end up with multiple live subscriptions.
Transitioning Existing Subscriptions
For users transitioning from an active subscription, to avoid multiple charges, please cancel any renewing subscriptions and wait for the expiration before activating: How do I cancel my subscription?
Troubleshooting Subscription Issues
If you encounter issues activating your subscription or notice that your membership is not linked to your account:
Double-check your inbox for the "Lumenate 1-Year Subscription: Kickstarter" email to activate your one-year subscription. Once activated, you will receive a "Subscription Confirmation - Login To Access" email.
Open this second email on your mobile device and click the Magic Login Button to activate your subscription.
If issues persist:
Open the Lumenate app and navigate to Settings > Web Login to enter the Code manually.
Recheck the Code for accuracy if it does not work.
Take a screenshot of any error messages for troubleshooting.
