Lifetime Access activation and transitioning from existing subscriptions.
Overview of Lifetime Subscriptions
Lifetime Access was a special one-time price add-on available to Kickstarter backers through the Lumenate Nova pledges. We're monitoring demand but currently aim to only include this with the Kickstarter campaign.
If purchased, Lifetime Access will be automatically added to your account once your Kickstarter backer survey is complete, and will start once any ongoing subscription expires (see below on how to cancel renewing in-app subscriptions to ensure smooth activation and avoid charges).
Activating Lifetime Access
Complete the backer survey: After pledging, Kickstarter sends a backer survey where you can share your delivery address and your email linked to your Lumenate account (see our article: Kickstarter Backer Survey for more info).
Wait for activation: After your backer survey is submitted, our team will activate the Lifetime Access on your account.
Lifetime Access errors: If we run into an issue while trying to run the Lifetime Access on your Lumenate account, we will reach out to you.
If you have no other ongoing subscriptions, restart the Lumenate app: If your Lifetime Access is not showing after activation, fully close and reopen the app and the subscription should be unlocked.
Transitioning from Existing Subscriptions
If you have an ongoing subscription, your Lifetime Access will automatically transition when your current subscription period ends.
Please remember:
Cancel your ongoing subscription: Visit either the Apple Support: Cancel Subscriptions page or the Google Play Support: Cancel Subscriptions page to view renewal dates and cancel subscriptions.
Wait for Transition: Once the current subscription is cancelled and expires, your account should transition seamlessly to Lifetime Access.
Keep in mind that the app may not yet visually display Lifetime Access during this transition period.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
Lifetime subscriptions not reflected in app: This may occur because your current subscription has not yet expired. Please make sure you have cancelled any app subscriptions and Lifetime Access will transition automatically.
Lifetime subscription not recognised: For backers, ensure your backer survey is complete. The team will re-run the activation process as needed, and you’ll receive confirmation.
