How do I update my Nova?

How can I see if my Nova is running the latest software; my Nova is running old firmware

The Lumenate app will automatically check for updates every time your Nova connects.

If an update is available, you’ll see a red dot on your settings tab icon, as shown in the image below which shows the screens for iOS (with the screens for Android being very similar).

To install the update go to:

  1. "Settings", then...

  2. "Lumenate Nova", then...

  3. "Update Nova" (ensure your Nova is connected to see this button)

This will download the latest software for your Nova and transfer it across. When updating your Nova, please ensure that your Nova is connected to your device and nearby at all times.

Please note that after the installation process your Nova will reboot, so don’t worry if you see your Nova turn itself on and then back on again after this process - this is to be expected.

On iOS, you can also manually check for updates by go to "Settings" > "Lumenate Nova" > "Device Settings" > "Check for Updates".
